Show notes

What if Microsoft Office and Google Workspace were redesigned from the ground up for AI? Rohit Patel left his role as a director at Meta Superintelligence Labs after 8 years to launch Ndoc.ai, an AI-native workspace designed to bring spreadsheets, documents, presentations, and analysis into one connected experience.

But his bigger concern goes beyond productivity. As AI takes on more of our work, how do we track where the information comes from and how decisions are made?

We sit down during the Miami AI Summit to explore the thinking behind Ndoc, how he uses AI agents in his personal life, and why even someone who has helped develop advanced AI models doesn't trust them to do everything.

If you're tired of moving between AI chats, spreadsheets, and presentations to get your work done, or you're curious about what the next generation of business software could look like, this conversation is for you.

In this conversation:

  • Why Rohit believes traditional office software needs to be redesigned for AI
  • How Ndoc connects analysis, documents, and presentations while keeping the underlying information traceable
  • How Rohit builds personal AI agents for everyday tasks and why not everything needs an agent
  • Where AI-generated code still falls short, even for experienced developers
  • The standard he uses to decide whether an AI product is worth releasing
  • Why transparency matters when AI becomes part of critical business decisions
