When Jesus healed the blind man, He explained that adversity and difficulty in life may not always derive from prior sins. Rather, the constant truth is that God is in control and allows adversity to accomplish His purpose. In the process of healing this blind man, Jesus makes a mixture of spit and mud to heal the man’s vision. This shows us that while God can and will meet our needs, it may not be the process we expect. This process will always involve our faith and obedience as Jesus looks to partner together with us.
