Show notes
Elijah faced off with the wicked king and queen of Israel, performed many miracles, and won great victories in the hopes of turning the people back to God. When things didn’t go how he expected, instead of being “high” from his victories, he felt “low” and defeated and in despair. His depression led to an encounter with God in a desolate place. This gripping story explores the themes of mental health, isolation, and finding solace in the most unexpected ways.
