Many relationships over the last few years have been severely challenged due to various kinds of crisis. In Matthew 5:21-26, Jesus teaches us how to preserve relational blessing when faced with relational brokenness. From Jesus’ teaching, we learn three important insights on how to prevent relational crisis: 1.Realize that the emotion of unchecked anger is divisive and destructive. (v. 21-22) 2. Take the initiative early to make things right. (v. 23-24) 3. When conflict happens, try to reconcile quickly.
