Show notes

Many have turned to the wisdom of the Stoics for inspiration on how to do life on their own terms. In this episode, I read through “50 Very Short Rules for a Good Life from the Stoics” by Ryan Holiday. A few of my favorites from the list:

  • 7. Remember you have the power to have no opinion.
  • 17. “The best revenge is not to be like that.” –Marcus Aurelius
  • 21. Focus on process, not outcomes.
  • 35. Make a little progress each day.
  • 48. The obstacle is the way.

I think you’ll gain a lot from these if you truly apply them to your lives…one day at a time. Don’t talk about it, be about it. Tune in, won’t you?
